” The Lord gave me this message:

‘I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.
Before you were born I set you apart
and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.’

‘O Sovereign Lord,’I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” The Lord replied, ‘Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the Lord, have spoken!’ Then the Lord reached out and touched my mouth and said,

‘Look, I have put my words in your mouth!'”

Jeremiah 1:4-9

God has big dreams for us.  He has the most incredible blessings that we could ever imagine sprinkled in between each moment of our existence.  He desires us to fulfill His will and follow His lead, so that we can experience Him to the fullest extent.

Everyone at some point is a Jeremiah.  We are called to do something big, huge even to our standards, and we give excuses.  We cannot fathom actually doing what God wants us to do, let alone even entertain the thought of it!

Or, God may have placed a passion or vision in you, that you have been putting off for way too long.  Your excuses, fears and doubts have sufficated your dreams and you are left unsatisfied and unfulfilled, knowing that life calls you to do more than you are doing.

We cannot put off our dreams any longer.  We must push beyond our excuses, fear, doubt, distractions….to do the things that the Lord of the Universe has called us to do!

As it was once said, “Our lives and risks must be so big that they demand that God is involved.” (unknown author)

If we want to see God work in our lives, if we want to spark change, see change and experience change then we must be the change!  We must whole heartedly attack the plans that God has laid before us, and giving it all that we have with every ounce of passion within us!

God told Jeremiah that when he carried out His will, he would provide the means to do so, He would pave the way and He would give Jeremiah the blessing in his endeavor.

When we do Kingdom work, you better believe that God is going to let His Kingdom come! He will bless us, encourage us, grow us…all to build His Kingdom.

So what are you waiting for?  Dream Big, Pray Big and Do it Big!
