What they are confused by is our lack of belief in our own truth. We believe the Word of God, but when it comes to actually living out that faith, conviction, hope and joy in our everyday situations, we miss the mark. Often in one sentence we give truth to the message of Christ, but in the next sentence we step back in doubting that God will provide for us in the future. The words completely contradict each other.
Everyday we need to be clear in our message and powerful in it’s delivery. We must know the truth that we hold to, write it on our hearts, and proclaim it with clarity and “umph”! We can speak the truth of Christ, but the way that we live our life must also give glory to that truth.
Examine the clarity of the message you are proclaiming. Strive to speak, live and love with audacity and authority in the truth of Christ. Once you become clear in your message, proclaim it with some “umph”! Hold to your beliefs in every ounce of your being and as the psalm reads, speak boldy, unembarrassed to tell the world of what you have gained.
